Over the years, J. Pettiecord Inc. has developed into one of Iowa’s Premier Environmental and Remediation Contractors. We have extensive experience in the fields of Fuel Storage Tank Removals, Contaminated Soil Excavations, and Demolition. Our Equipment Operators are 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER trained and have an 8-hour refresher course every year. We also carry a large amount of insurance and can meet most company’s insurance requirements.
Storage Tank Removals
Every year, J. Pettiecord Inc. removes, coordinates the cleaning of, and disposes of many Fuel Storage Tanks all over the state of Iowa. J. Pettiecord Inc. can handle the removal of just about any size of Storage Tank above or below ground and transport it for disposal utilizing our Heavy Hauling division.
Contaminated Soil Excavations
Contaminated Soil Excavations is also a large part of our environmental services. With our large fleet of trucks that we run all over the state of Iowa, we are able to excavate and haul large amounts of contaminated soil in a short amount of time. Many projects that we undertake involve removing contaminated soil from the same site that we removed Fuel Storage Tanks from.
